Information You Provide

Account: Email and name via Google or Apple Sign-In

Profile: Age, gender, height, weight, and fitness goals

Preferences: Dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutrition goals

Content: Meal photos, workout notes, and feedback

Apple HealthKit Data

Activity: Steps, active energy, exercise minutes, stand hours, and distance

Workouts: Workout type, duration, route data, heart rate, and calories

Body Metrics: Weight, height, and body measurements

Sleep: Sleep duration and stages (if available)

Nutrition: Water intake and dietary data

Heart Rate: Resting, walking, and workout heart rate data

Android Health Connect Data

Activity and workouts: With your permission, steps, active calories, and exercise sessions for activity totals and workout history.

Body and recovery: Weight, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and sleep sessions and stages for progress and recovery views.

History: Health-data history access lets Niora read older records for trends when you grant that permission.

You choose which Health Connect permissions to grant. Manage or revoke Niora access in Health Connect → App permissions → Niora (the location may vary by Android version). Revoking access stops future reads; it does not delete data already saved to your Niora account. You can request deletion below. Deleting a Niora account does not delete original records held in Health Connect or Apple Health.

Automatic Collection

We never sell your personal data.

We only share data with service providers who help us operate the app.

Cloud Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for hosting and Cloud SQL for secure database storage

AI Services: When you enable AI assistance, relevant profile details, fitness and nutrition goals, dietary preferences, messages, and submitted images may be sent to third-party AI services for the feature you request. Supported providers include OpenAI and Anthropic for text or image processing, and Google Gemini and ElevenLabs for voice generation. Which service receives data depends on the feature and service configuration. Voice generation can send coaching text to the selected voice provider. You can withdraw AI consent in Settings to stop future cloud AI use.

Analytics and Diagnostics: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics process app usage and crash information to help us understand reliability and improve the app. This information may include an account identifier.

Provider Data Handling: Withdrawing consent does not erase previously processed data. Provider retention depends on the service and applicable account terms; we do not promise zero retention. Contact us for information about processing and deletion for your account.

Advertising & Measurement Pixels

Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Used on our marketing website to measure advertising effectiveness and reach people who may be interested in Niora. Loaded only after you accept cookies.

TikTok Pixel: Used on our marketing website for advertising measurement. Loaded only after you accept cookies.

You can opt out of these measurement pixels via the cookie banner or the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Pixels are never loaded for users who reject non-essential cookies, exercise their opt-out, or have Global Privacy Control enabled.

We may also share data if required by law or to protect our users' safety.

Secure Auth

We keep account data to provide the service while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app's Settings or request deletion through our public request page. Requests are verified before account data is removed. We retain a limited App Store transaction record, with its account link removed, to prevent a deleted account's purchase from being reassigned automatically. Any legally required retention will be explained when applicable. Deletion is not a promise of immediate erasure from every backup or service provider. See our Niora account deletion request page.
